Toutetsu Ate The Entire Realm
A light, old school roguelike made in 3 days for Touhou Game Jam 13 with theme: retro. Set in the distant past, when the ravenously hungry taotie Yuuma Toutetsu first entered the animal realm.
Touhou Project is property of Team Shanghai Alice. This game was made in conformance with ZUN's guidelines on fan works.
Objective
The game does not have an ending. However there is a specific item you may come across that will trigger a message indicating that you've won the game.
There is also a tough, optional boss you can beat.
For the jam build, death is merciful: you will restore to full health with the level generated anew. For a true roguelike experience, get through the game without dying.
Gameplay
Gameplay is turn based.
- Move into an enemy to attack it.
- When you defeat an enemy, Yuuma will consume it. This will make her stronger.
- Find the exit to proceed to the next level. This will also heal Yuuma to full.
- Interactive map objects may be used by standing on them and using the "use" action.
- When you move or act, enemies will all take an action.
- Diagonal movement is not possible.
- Tip: you can "wait" with the use action. This is useful when you want an enemy to move, but you don't want to move.
- Tip: you can hold down the movement keys to automatically move, but be careful as you may run into enemies and take several hits before realizing it.

Version History
The "bugfix" versions contain a fix for a rare bug where a teleporter can spawn on top of a wall, sometimes making progress impossible. This bugfix was submitted a few hours after the submission deadline. It is strongly recommended to play that version. The embedded game uses the bugfix version.
